Bukit Merah Lake Town: Baby's Day Out

My family & I spent 2-days 1-night @ Bukit Merah Lake Town (a water theme park). It was a real great break for us adults while the kids simply enjoyed themselves to the max! And it was such an "adventurous" day-out for little Afiq too!
I took most of the photos - that explains why you hardly see me in any of the pictures. Some are taken by Juan, which are real good shots.
We stayed at the Waterfront Villas - a 3 bedrooms apartment. Bukit Merah is fun during daylight. You might want to plan some family activities at night time like barbequing or DVD-viewing. A drive out to the nearest town or "jalan-jalan cari makan" may not worth it.
Dinner: We brought along marinade fish, prawn, squid, rice cooker & small stoves with gas cans so mom feels like @ home (able to cook without complaining of unsufficient equipment!)
Breakfast on the next day: complimentary from the hotel.
Tips:
1. Accomodation: you may want to consider staying at the "Perkampungan Air" (floating village)
2. @ the water theme park: Don't miss the Boomerang! Geez, it's like a suicide. Really. But it's cool!
3. Games & a lot of game-machines @ dry park for both adults & kids to enjoy
4. Stalls are available @ dry park (payment made via coupon)
5. Bukit Merah's climate is hot and dry. If you are going to the water park, plan to go early in the morning or later in the afternoon. Avoid going during mid-day. It opens 10am to 6.30pm.

*Afiq-chan is his nickname. "Chan" means "little boy" in Japanese. (Afiq's mom studied in Japan for several years & sometimes speak Japanese with Afiq).

Where's the first day raya photos???
Not taken ; ( Fz + Jn too busy eating leh! No time to snap photo oneeeeeee...
We spent our first day of Raya together in KL with Papa, Mama & KL relatives. We went back to Alor Setar @ 8am the next day. Arrived in AS at noon, took a little rest and then off to Shaf's open House in Anak Bukit (and yup, still no photos!). We went to Grandma's house at night to meet my relatives. Most uncles, unties & cousins were there.

Get Berbuka Puasa 2004

Sempat jugak ler Fz join get berbuka with the gang! Dapat jugak Fz jumpa PeXal, Cik Li & Grik yg baru balik from UK. Tapi Fz tak lepak lama macam dolu2 since ada supper "dating" plak... Anim pun sampai lewat time Fz dah siap2 nak wrap up. Tak sompek eden nak snap photo Anim yg sgt ler ayu hari tuh! ; )

Fz + Jn in Bali!

We stayed at Kuta Paradiso Hotel - just a 10 minute drive from the Ngurah Rai Airport in Denpasar (capital of Bali). Yup, the hotel is near the beach where the surfers hang out. Cool.
There was a bomb blast in Jakarta on Thursday, Sept 9th while we were touring around Bali...
